Good morning,
Here are a few more images from our recent trip to Fernbank Park west of Cincinnati.
Many, many years ago I helped friends launch their small pleasure boat into the Ohio River here.
My Honey and I walked all the way down to the river - that's him down there ahead of me.
That old piece of drift wood wouldn't be fun to hit in the water with your boat propeller.
What a gorgeous day beside the Ohio River.
The ramp obviously needs some repairs, but I imagine it is still being used.
All the best,
Lois
The water looks so calm! Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThat's interesting. I love the caution sign about the uneven pavement. I wonder if they should add something a "Big River Straight Ahead"

ReplyDeleteA quiet day on the river. There should be some barges passing by.
ReplyDeleteI seeing photo's of places like this taken by people like myself, of places I will never see. It's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful day for a walk by the river. Even needing repair the boat launch looks much more sophisticated than the launches here.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's a good place to set sail, lovely.
