Good morning,
I've shown you those windmills earlier, but there is more to the commercial seaport at St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies.
There is a substantial amount of container ship traffic here.
This ship, though is a ferry. In addition to other vehicles tractor trailer trucks are transported via ferry.
The view out toward the entrance to the port includes more of the commercial seaport, cranes, and containers.
This is a distribution point for merchandise coming from all parts of the world.
Isn't it fascinating to see how how world commerce moves by sea?
Best,
Lois
I would guess that's their main source of transportation via water. Cute little windmills. In Pocahontas County we have on a hillside a ton of these HUGE, HUGE windmills. They are massive!! ...debbie
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty interesting. I hadn't thought about it before. Nice photos, Lois!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is fascinating how the world's commerce moves.
