Good morning,
Here are images of Cafe Amici where we ate lunch in Downtown St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.
It was fun to be back here once again. As it was the first time we were here in 1997 and in later years, though, there weren't any tables available when we arrived so we sat at the bar to order lunch.
And, a complete bar it is! We had iced tea, though.
There's Makers Mark Bourbon from Kentucky. We visited the Markers Mark Distillery and saw how it is made last September.
Service was somewhat slow, but the food was definitely worth the wait (not too much weight, though.) This gives a whole new meaning to "tuna salad." Wow! This was delicious!
I hope you're enjoying our visit to St. Thomas with us.
Best,
Lois
That Tuna looks good! Was it raw or smoked??? Nice post, Lois.
ReplyDeleteThe tuna was grilled and very, very good! :) As you can see, it was grilled "rare."
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments. :)

The food looks wonderful! I'll take an iced tea too.
ReplyDeletei like that statue in the fountain. :)
ReplyDeleteDelightful place to eat! So many of the restaurants you picture are open air and seem to flow right off the street. I'm just a bit curious as to how they close them up at night.
ReplyDeleteElaine,
ReplyDeleteMost of the restaurants down here have a type of metal gate that closes them when necessary, but I don't see that in the pictures of Cafe Amici. I'm not quite sure how they do that there.
Thanks, everyone, for stopping by.
Hugs,
Lois
