Veggie and Butter Art - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

The artwork on board Freedom of the Seas isn't just on the walls.  All around the ship you'll also find vegetable, butter, and ice artwork made by the Culinary Department.

The table above was being prepared for the Crown and Anchor Society Party.
Return cruisers are automatically members of the Royal Caribbean Crown and Anchor Society so are invited to a special party in their honor.  It's fun evening to learn more about the ships and itineraries as well as talk with other cruisers.

There is always something fun going on at sea.  :)

Best,
Lois

  1. How fun is that! Amazing the art people can create from every day objects.
I have never been on a cruise so it's really fun to travel with you. ;)

  3. Pardon my ignorance, but do people eat the decorations later on, or is it just for the artistry?

  4. Hi Everyone,

No, River, the food art work isn't eaten later. It is for display only.

There are some great veggie art displays around the ship right now. I'll have to take a walk just to get images of those for a post of their own.

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by and for your kind comments.

    Best,
    Lois
