One of the questions I am often asked about cruise ships is, "What happens if I get sick or hurt while I am on a cruise?"
Freedom of the Seas has a very complete medical center where sickness and injuries can be treated until guests can be transferred to a hospital on shore.
There is a staff of two physicians and two nurses and another support staff. They do a super job of making sure guests are well cared for while at sea.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this information!! we went on a cruise last summer with all 10 of us....I saw in the middle of the night a man being transported by stretcher into smaller boat with a siren! but the whole thing was very efficient, and it appeared that everyone knew exactly whet they were doing.
