Good morning,
These darling little gnomes are in Metamora, Indiana.
They are outside a gift shop welcoming visitors and encouraging them to come inside the open shop doors.
Isn't he cute! ;)
This is my favorite, though. Regular readers know I just love turtles. :))
Those gnomes did the trick. We went inside and met the very nice shop
owners who told us about their recent trip to Florida. It's a small
world, isn't it! We also bought gifts for our daughter, son, and
daughter-in-law. It was a fun day. :)
All the best,
Lois
I have many Gnomes Lois. These were all very cute. I liked the one on the swing! Many of mine are fading now except for the ceramic one's.
ReplyDeleteI love those types of shops!
Love Di ♥
well Lois, I am not a gnome lover but these little guys do seem to have a sense of humour, specially the one in the tree
ReplyDeletethey are rather charming. :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I love Gnomes, but don't have any. I loved the little one on the swing the best!! ...debbie
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I love the one on the swing!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! All are wearing lovely red hats.Fun.
ReplyDeleteThose are nicer gnomes than most. The Travelocity gnome creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteThose really are unique gnomes. My mother used to have a saying to get us up and going to do our chores. She would say "there won't be any gnomes coming out of the walls tonight!" As a child I used to think they possibly existed and worked very hard during the dark hours at some homes.
ReplyDeleteBeware of the garden gnome liberationists!
ReplyDeleteI too love the gnome on the turtle! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwww, ask me if I adore these? Yes!!! Every ONE of them. Sweet, sweet, sweet. And so very whimsical.
ReplyDeletehow fun and light and welcoming!
ReplyDeleteI love them! They are so unique. I have only every seen the boring ones that just sit or stand in your garden.
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I never thought much of gnomes, always thought the TV advertisement was cute but then one of my dear friends bought me one for my birthday last year, he is one of my favorite nick nacks now. I love him and didn't put him in my garden but kept him on one of the shelves in our family room for us all to see.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. How wonderful that your son got his Doctorate from Georgetown. Funny story about the motorcycles setting off the car alarms all night at your hotel.
Loved this post. That last photo of the Gnome riding the turtle is just too cute.
ReplyDeleteI've never been much of a collector but these are so cute I might consider it!
ReplyDeleteThe swinging one is so cute but all are so adorable though.
ReplyDeleteI wish I have one :D
Aww, so cute! I love the swinging one the best. I think I'd love to go shopping there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute and welcoming place!
ReplyDeleteGreat decoration for a gift shop. Looks like it did the trick of attracting customers.
ReplyDeleteGnomes and fairies in the gardens are wonderful, Lois. Our own flower gardens have lots of frogs. These were very attractive fellows.
