Sunday Brunch at Grandma and Grandpa's

Good morning,

There's nothing like family, is there?  These are a few casual snapshots taken after brunch at our house.

Above is son Don working on his sister's computer while Don's wife, Crystal, looks on.
Grandson David enjoyed Grandpa's Blackberry PlayBook while Alex played Battleship with Grandpa.
We all take so many pictures that no one even noticed the flash as I snapped away.

Don and his kids lived with us for awhile a couple of years ago so they are very close to our dogs.
And, finally, our sweet Penny sits in one of her regular spots beside Dad, just where his arm can reach down and pet her.

There's nothing like home and family.  We miss them when we are away.

All the best,
Lois

  2. I imagine the brunches with your lovely family include your good homemade bread, Lois. I keep forgetting to tell you how much I like 'Lois's Cheddar Cheese and Broccoli Bread Recipe'...which I have on file and am making later today. At the moment, 'whole wheat with molasses' is in the bread machine.

  9. I think family times like these are the most precious times of all, and in our busy world don't happen often enough.
