Ducks and Children - Bardstown, Kentucky

Good morning,

These are more of the images I took on our trip to Bardstown, Kentucky, last August.
The ducks were enjoying a morning splash in the stream that flows through the Pioneer Village.
And, some were clearly uninvited!
There was quite a loud discussion going on.
Then, things settled down quickly...
 ...when humans with food...
 ...arrived.
The young ladies from the Pioneer Village were tossing pieces of bread from the bridge.
The ducks were perfectly willing to behave and eat breakfast together.
Just up stream these darling little girls were playing in the water.

When I looked across the stream at the church, I realized two ladies, one packing serious heat, and a child had arrived.  ;)

More images to come of the Pioneer Village, cabin interiors, and Civil War Battle Reenactment.

 Best,

Lois

  10. my daughters pre school nursery was in a park and my son and I would wander through to collect her and always feed the ducks...he was a toddler. At that age every animal he saw was a quack quack..dogs, cats...they all would have him shouting quack quack!! I love seeing ducks, it reminds me...and no, he isn't ''intellectually challenged'' just a little duck obsessed perhaps!!
