Penny: Your bone is right over there.
Erik: But, I want to taste your bone.
Penny: Sorry, I'm the alpha dog here.
Erik: Oh, shucks.
---------------------
Erik had a bone, too, just a few feet away, but Penny's looked so much more tasty!
My Honey took these pictures with my camera. Erik and Penny were having this quiet, gentle discussion about the bone beside My Honey's computer chair. We sit side by side so he reached over for my camera to snap these pictures. Erik and Penny are the best of friends. It was so cute to watch Erik try to convince Penny to share her bone.
It is so much fun to be home.

You KNOW I love this one!!! I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have a Lab (or two!) in their life.
ReplyDeleteCute! I especially love your dog posts now that I have a sweet yellow lab of my own. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute series and perfect commentary! It's nice to be home I agree. I'm a real homebody, and would probably NEVER travel, but with kids in Utah and Alaska - what does one do?
ReplyDeletesuch gorgeous pups! i love it when they have quiet exchanges like this. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful doggies, everything that they do is alright.

ReplyDeleteJust the right theme for this time "to live in peace and harmony".

It's so much fun to watch the interaction between dogs, and it always seems like what the other guy has is better. It's the little things like this that make being home so nice.
ReplyDeleteWe had two dogs, sort of like this. The one(Shelby) adored the other(Keesha), but the Keesha looked down her. Keesha considered herself human.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that they get along so well!
