More Turkey and Easy Clean Up

Good morning,

We didn't get enough turkey on Thanksgiving so we had another Thanksgiving on Saturday at our home.  Here daughter Catherine is making stuffed mushrooms.  She made a fantastic dinner for fourteen of us, some of whom didn't get to the dinner at son Don's on Thanksgiving Day.
Catherine made two turkeys!  One on the grill...
...and one in the oven.
Here Erik waits to help with cleanup.
Penny and Erik do a great job of getting the dishes ready for the dishwasher.  ;)

Do you celebrate holidays over many days?  We sure do here!  The food just goes on and on until we have gotten together with all family and friends.

All the best,
Lois

  3. Lois, the move-able feast is always wonderful during the holidays :-)

By the way, is that a piece of Noritake china on the floor next to Penny?

Have a lovely Holy Day season!

  6. Hi,

Yes, the doggies sure are helpful. Everything is Lab Tested and Dishwasher Pre Washed. :)))

Beth, that dinnerware is at least 50 years old. It is not Noritake. It's Royal (something). I bought extra pieces long ago and it was pretty expensive so I developed a new appreciation for it! The bowl is also very old - Pyrex. It's a favorite for about everything we make. I'm very fortunate to have all of my mothers kitchen "stuff." I love using it and remembering when she used it.

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by and for your kind comments. :)

    All the best,
    Lois
