Good morning,
When you step off of Freedom of the Seas in St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies, you are met by a shuttle that will take you into the shopping area...
...or to the water taxis that will take you across the bay to the old part of town. If you don't ride on one of those shuttles, be very careful! They move very fast up and down the dock and you don't want to be in their way.
We like to walk more than ride so that we can stop and take pictures when we want to take them. In the foreground here is the sea wall of huge hunks of molded concrete.
And, here is "our chariot" that awaits our return and to carry us to the next port.
Enjoy,
Lois
Isn't it about time you were coming back north again? I seem to remember you are home for Thanksgiving but not Christmas. Have a safe trip home.
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry,
ReplyDeleteWe will be home just in time for Thanksgiving and will be there for Christmas, too, this year. :)) We will return to the ship in late January.
Catherine and Carol were here last week. Catherine took home lots of things I made that are now in the shop where I hope there will be plenty of Christmas shoppers! I'll have a Black Friday sale for dolls and doll clothes while they last.
Tomorrow is a US port day again, so I can upload some pictures for here on the blog. I have some really nice onces that I haven't had enough band width to upload yet.
All the best,
Lois
