Shopping on the Royal Promenade - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

You can pull right up and park here on the Royal Promenade to do some shopping on board Freedom of the Seas.

Well, really you can't, but it sure feels like it you can on this street that feels like a European village.
There are plenty of specialty shops and above them you can see the windows of staterooms that overlook the Royal Promenade.
At different times during the cruise shopping is moved out into the center of the promenade.
At other times, these sales counters will be moved and parades will delight the guests.
But, for right now, it's time to buy a new hat!

See the Cafe Promenade on the right?  That's where my brother, his wife, and I spent quite a bit of time last January sipping mocha coffee and watching the world go by.
The Cafe Promenade is also a place where you can get something light to eat at most times of the day and night.

Tomorrow I'll continue to stroll down the center of this beautiful ship with my camera.

Enjoy!

Lois

  6. Hi Everyone,

Shopping on board is so very convenient. Not only can you find the every day "stuff" you might have forgotten to bring (shampoo, etc.) you can get souvenirs on board. The shops cater to the itinerary so there are plenty of items that relate to the ports the ship visits.

Thank you so much, everyone, for stopping by and for your very kind comments.

And, Gunn, YES! Happy 17 Mai! May 17 is Constitution Day in Norway. :)))

    Big hugs,
    Lois
