Here Come the Roses...

Good Morning,

It feels so good to go out each morning and see what is new in the garden.  Here come the roses (above)...
...and the magnolias (last year in full bloom here)...
...and even the wild strawberries.

Isn't Spring wonderful!

Enjoy,
Lois

  1. You are ahead of us in Spring! It's still cold up here. I did notice yesterday that my Lilac bushes have the first hint of new buds on them.

  2. Hello Lois
After the awful winter the northern hemisphere had I think all of you will enjoy this coming spring
I'm giving mine a haircut this week to trim off all the old blooms - might even get some more before its time to really cut them down for the winter
    Take care

  3. Cleaning out the flower beds, I've spied things starting to pop out of the ground. Since we have only lived here since August 2010, I'm not really sure yet what kind of spring blooms will be popping up.

  4. I, too, love inspecting what's transpired during the past 24 hours... I've had some roses already (gotta love Florida), but they went a little dormant after a couple crazy days of storms. A lot of buds are coming out now. Plus, the kids have to inspect their carrots and peas daily for progress... even though they were planted 4 days ago.

  5. I've always wanted roses planted near my front door, so when I come home after work I can smell them... also when I have the windows open, I can smell them then, too! =)
