Happy Birthday Number Two to Bjorn Erik

Good morning,

My how time flies!  This is our Labrador Retriever, Bjorn Erik, being held by our Grandson Alex.  The image was taken almost two years ago when Bjorn Erik came home to live with us.

Erik is two years old today.  As is his girlfriend, Penny, he is now a canine athlete.  He competes in Agility and is winning his own blue ribbons with his trainer, our daughter Catherine.

I am sure Catherine has other videos, but this is the one I happen to have to show you:

    Love your photos. Penny looks like the lab we used to have. A student gave her to us when a wee puppy. The last of their litter. We had her for 23 human years and then had to have her put to sleep as the arthritis was really getting to her and she cried when she walked or tried to get up. It was more than we could stand. She got to see all of our 5 kids grow up and leave home.

    I love Black Labs Lois. I had one many years ago and they are just wonderful dogs as proved here by Erik!

    Good morning,

    Erik had a wonderful birthday yesterday. I told him about all of your greeting and he told me to thank you. ;)

    Erik got a new squeaky toy, a new dressy collar (he only wears collars when he goes out), and had ice cream last night with his friend, Penny. It was a wonderful second birthday party.
