  1. Very lovely baby blanket Lois. Must have been a boy from the colors you used.

  2. What a nice present! Thanks for showing the upclose stitches and giving us an idea on how to do the same thing.

  3. Oh, Lois, how timely!! I am just learning how to crochet, and I will be acting as companion to a woman recuperating from surgery for the next few weeks who is an expert! My intentions are to keep her busy teaching me. This will be a great project for us. It is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing. ~karen

  5. Oh that is pretty. Obviously for a boy but would look lovely in different shades of pink too.

    Have a great weekend.

  6. Oh my goodness Lois - that is such a beautiful baby blanket. What a wonderful and treasured gift to give. You know I cannot crochet at all- can hardly hold the hook correctly just to do single crochet. I so admire your talent. I am a knitter you know - but I could never make a blanket that beautiful!

  9. Hi Everyone,

This was a fun blanket to make. I'll have to make another soon since this one is already spoken for. I like to keep at least one in pink and one in blue available. ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by and your very kind comments.

    Best,
    Lois

  10. Very pretty...wish I crocheted but I don't...did not learn when young. I half taught myself a few years ago but so slow it was pathetic.
