Good morning,A quick look at that coat at the right doesn't look too unusual, does it?
A closer look at this work of art aboard Freedom of the Seas reveals it is a carving of an overcoat complete with a wallet hanging out of the pocket.
This "coat" hangs in a stair way of the ship. On the opposite side of the stairway is a matching pair of boots.
It's amazing, isn't it. The artwork itself is so much fun to explore. I enjoy taking the time to look at it all. There are plaques describing the art with credit to the creators.
If you ever have an opportunity to cruise aboard a Royal Caribbean ship, be sure to spend some time exploring the art that is found everywhere aboard.

What neat sculptures. There are lots of talented people out there is this world of ours.
ReplyDeleteI usually pay very close attention to the artwork where ever I am, but I guess I didn't do such a good job while at sea! Perhaps someday I'll get the chance to see all of this great art work.
