Our Penny

Good morning,

That beautiful Yellow Labrador Retriever in that image up there is our Penny. Penny and our daughter, Catherine, spend a lot of time at our local AKC club and at other clubs training and showing in AKC Agility Trials.  We even have agility equipment in our back yard.
Penny has another new AKC title, Master Agility Excellent.  We are so proud of Penny and of our daughter Catherine, who is her trainer and handler.

In fact, I'm so proud that I just had to share this with all my bloggy friends.  :)

Very best,
Lois

  1. Congratulations! She is a beautiful dog, but then being a "Lab person", I could be somewhat opinionated on that subject!!! There is nothing like those big dark eyes looking up at you. I truly believe Labs talk with their eyes!!!

  2. Our Penny reminds me so much of "Our Cuddles" who lived a remarkable 23 human years. Our vet hospiral said they had never had a dog to be this old. Anyway, our five children grew up and left home and she was still around.

I have a place in my heart for dogs. I have had one or more since the day I was born, it seems. Now, after Autumn Eve died, Patty said, "No more!" She didn't want to go through another separation event.

But after a few years I am almost willing to go get another one.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my blogging buddies...

  5. My Congratulations to Penny and to Catherine. It takes a special relationship between the dog and the trainer to do so well. You have every right to be proud Lois.

  8. Good morning,

Our Penny sure is special. She recently had a back injury, just after completing the current title. She is in therapy and other treatment now and should be back "bar hopping" soon.

Thank you so much for all your congratulations and kind words.

    Very best,
    Lois

  9. How I wish! Master Agility? My dog could try out for a sledding position the way she pulls! Only a dog a mother (me) could love.
