Sea Day

Good morning,

Our favorite days on board are absolutely the sea days.

The image above was taken on deck 4 of the Freedom of the Seas.  The deck wraps around the dining room which allows for spectacular views for those dining inside.
This image was taken on an aft deck of the ship as it is being propelled by five giant engines that produce 101,381 horsepower.  That's a whole lot of horses running around down there in the Engine Room!

I hope your day is as beautiful and peaceful as this day at sea.

Very best,

Lois

  2. I have not been good to leave a comment lately, but I do follow your trip on the sea every day. It is so fun to see how it is to be on such a big cruise ship, I believe I will never be on one myself. Now you share it with all of us, and it is very nice.

  3. I loved the sea day, too. Gave me a chance to just chill and relax, which I needed to do!

Amd looking or film for the Brownie now - excited to use it.

  5. Good morning, everyone,

Yes, that is quite a wake. The Ship is one huge piece of machinery.

The sea is so very changeable. The wake and waves can be so big, yet so smooth. I have some pictures coming of the very smooth sea that we experience every few days.

    Thanks, everyone, for stopping by.

    Very best,
    Lois

  6. I agree, Lois, that sea days can be the most exciting and I would be watching the ocean action too as the ship moved along!
