Yes, I am still aboard Freedom of the Seas, and yes, that is a full size boxing ring. There is a complete Work Out Center here including all the standard cycle and running machines. The boxing ring is unusual for a cruise ship, though, that's for sure.
And, here are weights...
...and various other...
So for you work out folks, you will find all the tools you need here. This is such fun!
Best,
Lois

Aw, a good sign ;) Happy gyming, Lois!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Sunday and a great week. xx
Lois, perhaps the boxing ring could be for people to settle their differences? (only joking). The exercise room was interesting in that it was so empty and considering all the edible treats on board Freedom, it was surprising NOT to see people trying to shed some calories. But then maybe not mane go on a cruise to "work". It is certainly a beautiful facility.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything you don't find on that ship? It almost has more than a small town!
ReplyDeleteI understand the need for the sign, but I have to admit...it's a little funny and would give me pause...as if it might make the ship spring a leak or something. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning,
ReplyDeleteNo, not much missing from this ship, that's for sure!
Beatrice, not to worry about few people in my pictures. I purposely wait and wait and wait to get shots without people in them. Now that you've mentioned it a couple of times, I have some people shots coming. ;) I'm working on the circus pictures. Yep, a circus parade on board.
Wanda, that's a thought, but dropping the weights surely won't harm the ship, it just causes noise that is not welcome on the deck below. The weight room is on deck 11. The ship is more than 160,000 tons so the weights dropping won't hurt the stability of the ship. Think aircraft carrier only taller. ;) Dropping weights won't hurt the ship. In fact, I'm working on a series of pictures of the granite on board.
This is so much fun being on this ship. The ship itself is a work of art.
Thank you so much, everyone, for stopping by.
Very best,
Lois
