Thirty Thousand Horses - Majesty of the Seas

Good morning,

I just have a few images today of a type I really like.  Not only is there a lot of blue water, there is such a feeling of great calm, power, and peace in them.
We were leaving the island of Coco Cay, Bahamas when I walked around the Promenade Deck.  After the great clanging and banging of anchors being raised all became nearly quiet as I felt a low vibration as a slow turn was powered by our stern and bow thrusters.

I was alone as I stood on Deck 7 Aft, when a gentle rumbling of thirty thousand horses under my feet in the Engine Room slowly started to walk, then trot, then gallop...
...to take us out to sea and toward our next port of call.

Life at sea is gloriously beautiful.  I am grateful for every day I can be here to enjoy it.

Very best,
Lois

  6. Good morning,

Yes, it is very pretty out on the high seas. There is just no end to pretty pictures to be captured.

I should have mentioned that these images were taken in the late afternoon after a day at the island. The ship moves mostly at night and is in ports during the day. When we are in US ports I am able to use my Verizon air card connection which is when I upload most photos. I can connect via satellite, too, but avoid that for obvious reasons! It all works very well.

Thank you, everyone, for stopping by.

    Very best,
    Lois
