No water and no air. No wonder it doesn't work!

haha!

Okay, I'd better go see to that stuff I have back there. I mean, I am reasonably intelligent, I should be able to "get this".River Glorioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09380075097011912612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186835296797362617.post-7951276853071050152010-10-27T08:00:23.787-04:002010-10-27T08:00:23.787-04:00Good morning,

We are traveling again right now and I am glad I have some good pics still from home that were taken while the weather was really nice. I have a few more to come, too.

Beatrice, the recipe is so simple for the lamb and cabbage. I believe this batch was two heads of cabbage, about 2 pounds of lamb with most of the fat removed first, and a palm full of pepper corns. Let it simmer all day and enjoy that evening. Yum!

River, it doesn't take anything at all to compost except to put the stuff where it gets air and water. If you turn it once in awhile the process goes faster.

I hope everyone is safe at home. I hear the storm yesterday was terrible.

Thank you, everyone, for stopping by.

Very best,
LoisLois Evensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11129343619065721588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186835296797362617.post-48615264538693384622010-10-26T22:13:27.959-04:002010-10-26T22:13:27.959-04:00It doesn't take a proud grandma to see that Al...It doesn't take a proud grandma to see that Alex is a little darling!Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01801967071649685995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186835296797362617.post-30178794579038593722010-10-26T21:13:44.189-04:002010-10-26T21:13:44.189-04:00Great fall day post, Lois, from kids playing outdo...Great fall day post, Lois, from kids playing outdoors, leaf blowing, and a dinner waiting to be enjoyed. Did your honey also cook dinner and could you post the recipe as Grenville does enjoy lamb and might want to try this one. (thanks). We got home this evening and YES it is great to be home, even if catching up will take a few days.Beatrice P. Like the blue of your new hat. Your lamb stew looks pretty good. My memories of lamb however are not good. I haven't had it in YEARS, not since I was a kid and I didn't like it then. I'd probably like it now. But will never know, unless I order it out someplace. Doubt I'll ever buy lamb...debbieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186835296797362617.post-26177959842614507052010-10-26T07:22:47.521-04:002010-10-26T07:22:47.521-04:00October is my favorite month Lois!
